Morgan’s estate Double L Vineyard is located in the northern end of the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation of Monterey. The Santa Lucia Highlands appellation in Monterey County is on the northeast facing slopes of the coastal Santa Lucia range, overlooking the Salinas Valley, about 12 miles from the Monterey Bay. Double L (Double Luck, for the Lee’s twin daughters) is the result of winegrower Dan Morgan Lee’s passion for Burgundian varietals and his 26 years of winemaking experience in Monterey.
