The best expression of sangiovese, produced only across the better vintages, it is named after the “La Casa” vineyard located at 275 m above sea level in the northern area of Montalcino with South-South/East exposure and basically loose shale-sandy soil rich in skeletal material. Good medium dark red. Flamboyant aromas of plum chestnut and sweet pipe tobacco, complicated by highpitched notes of exotic spices. Fresh and vibrant on entry, then more powerful in the middle palate, displaying seductive floral tones on the long, suave finish. This is noticeably richer deeper and denser than the Caparzo Brunello classico
