IRON SMOKE WHISKEY
Founded in 2010, Iron Smoke is a New York State Farm Distillery based in Fairport, NY. They use all local ingredients from Finger Lakes family-owned farms located within a 50 mile radius of the distillery and give the stripped mash back to the farmers to feed their livestock.
Iron Smoke Distillery has won 17 International Awards, including the San Francisco World Spirits Competition beating over 1,800 distilleries from all over the world.
Iron Smoke is made using an apple wood smoked 4 grain bourbon mash bill recipe. They smoke some of the grains with the same process as a backyard smoker merging two great American pastimes: great BBQ and great whiskey making. The whiskey is aged in thirty-gallon new American white oak barrels for approximately 2 years.
