Description
The majority of the wine comes from the oldest vines on our La Planta estate, with 96% Tempranillo, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Merlot varieties. This Reserva is produced using traditional and sustainable farming methods. The clay-limestone soils, with limestone parent rock less than a meter deep and an altitude of approximately 900 meters, contribute to the uniqueness of our vineyards.
Arzuaga
This wine is made entirely from selected grapes from the vineyard on the estate that gives it its name, “Finca La Planta,” owned by the Arzuaga Navarro family and located a few kilometers from the winery in the heart of Ribera del Duero. The altitude of 911 m, the clay-limestone soil, and the continental climate give the estate very distinctive characteristics, reflected both in the grapes and, subsequently, in the wine.
