Sangiovese

Sangiovese is another fantastic and iconic grape variety, primarily associated with Italy, particularly Tuscany.
It’s the backbone of some of Italy’s most famous wines, including Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino,
and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Sangiovese wines are known for their vibrant acidity, medium to full
body, and flavors that often include red fruits like cherry, strawberry, and raspberry,
along with earthy, herbal, and sometimes even floral notes. You might also find hints of tobacco, leather,
and a bit of spice, especially as the wine ages.
