Description
Selection of grapes from different plots on the Torremilanos Estate, such as Hoyo Verde, Canal, Corral, Valdecañal Martínez, Acacias, Adrián, and Valdecañal. All of these vineyards are located in the eastern part of the estate, closest to Aranda de Duero. These vineyards are bush-trained and trellised, with different soil types. Some of the plots used here were only partially harvested for the production of this wine. Altitude: 800-900 meters.
Finca Torremilanos
This wine comes from two harvest periods with two distinct ripeness levels. The first grape is harvested in early September, seeking the freshness of those harvest periods. Maceration lasts no more than five days for this first grape. The remaining grape is harvested in early October, seeking a higher ripeness and alcohol content, sacrificing freshness. Maceration for this second wine lasts eight days. The two wines undergo separate malolactic fermentation and are then combined starting in February in barrels and small concrete tanks. The wine is aged together for 11 months before bottling. This wine is produced without sulfur.
