Description
Fruit for the Seven Ranchlands Cabernet Sauvignon primarily comes from family growers around Middletown in Lake County, directly north of Napa Valley. These vineyards, with their sandy clay soils and medium elevation, offer lower yields, allowing for extended hang times and achieving perfect ripeness at the end of the season.

CLINE FAMILY CELLARS
Grapes are hand-harvested at night, brought to the winery where they are completely destemmed, and the must is pumped to tanks. They naturally begin fermentation and are pumped over 3 times a day for two weeks. Wine completes malolactic fermentation in tank before being racked to 45% new French oak for 15 months to complete aging before racking, blending, and bottling.
