Soul of a Lion is the crown jewel of DAOU and an emblem of our quest to produce unsurpassed Cabernet Sauvignon from the terroir of DAOU Mountain. The 2022 presents deep red and purple hues in the glass. The nose is elegantly layered with notes of violet, strawberry jam, cassis, blueberry, and black currant. Generous flavors of red fruit, chocolate-covered blueberry, and baking spices expand into a rich, rounded mouthfeel, while vivid acidity and bright tannins join together on an exquisitely structured finish.
