Description
The terroir is located in the Chassagne-Montrachet regional appellation area. The south-facing plot at an altitude of 200 meters lies flat on deep clay-limestone soil.
This vine, produced from the Chardonnay grape variety, was planted in 2016.
The word “buées” refers to the act of carrying out a large wash at the beginning of the 20th century. Very close to this plot is the Fontaine Sot washhouse, once used for “making steam.”

Domaine Balland-Curtet
After careful monitoring of maturity, the grapes are harvested by hand and taken to the vat room in small vats.
The harvest is lightly crushed, the juices flow into a pneumatic press and are settled. After gravity-fed barrels, the must ferments in oak barrels. The entire vintage is aged in this 23hl barrel.
After 10 months of aging on fine lees, the wine is blended, fined and bottled after light filtration.
