This premier cru from Meursault is atypical. It draws its aromatic profile from a clay-limestone soil and, above all, from a subsoil made up of limestone rock.
On the nose, lingering flint notes and a purity of fruit. Sharp, not very fleshy and mineral, the finish is saline.

It is only through this rigor in the vineyard and cellar that the wines retain their unique character. We recommend waiting a few years after bottling before drinking them.

Aerate white wines by decanting to allow the complex aromas to develop and allow all the finesse and personality of the terroir to express itself. Favor aeration in the glass for red wines; the fine and delicate character of Pinot Noir will be further enhanced.
