Description
Grape selection from 3 of our oldest bush-trained vineyards. El Roble Viejo, a plot over 90 years old located in the center-west of the Torremilanos hill at an altitude of 850 meters, north-facing, with pebble soil on the surface, sand underneath, and dead clays at depth. La Galinda, a plot over 90 years old located in the La Galinda area (Aranda Mountain) at an altitude of 840 meters, south-facing, with silt and clay soils with sand and pebbles on the surface (the limestone rock is closer). This plot is located in the Arandilla and Bañuelos rivers. Las Señoritas, a plot over 160 years old located in the Carro Aldehorno area (Fuentenebro) at an altitude of 1,010 meters, has clayey soil with many quartz pebbles and feldspar schists on the surface. This is the oldest vineyard plot in the municipality of Fuentenebro. Average age: over 90 years

Finca Torremilanos
A total of 22 months of aging in 225-liter barrels from our own cooperage in the winery for 90% of the wine (the other 10% remains in concrete). Blending and final aging for one month in a 7,800-liter concrete vat, which represents the total production of this wine. The use of sulfur dioxide is eliminated throughout the entire production and bottling process. Filtration during bottling is at a nominal 1 micron.
