Over the years, we have added new varietals, blends, and appellations to our Diamond Collection, especially when we find unique vineyard sources. Our Diamond Collection Appellation Series Cabernet Sauvignon continues this tradition by being the first wine in the Diamond Collection to be primarily sourced from Paso Robles. Paso Robles is an appellation known for its varied topography, soils, and meso-climates. This Cabernet Sauvignon is an exciting member of our family of Diamond Collection Cabernet Sauvignons, expressing vibrant notes of black fruit and spices, with an opulent body and long finish.
The 2021 vintage started off cold and dry. Initially inconsistent weather patterns created a lighter crop, but mild to warm weather later provided perfect conditions to develop concentration and flavor. Overall, a very nice harvest producing beautifully concentrated wines.
