Vintage 2022’s growing season was challenging, testing the vineyard and winemaking teams alike. Lenghty hot weather in early September created stress in the vines and slowed ripening. Once the vines rebounded, the fruit yielded powerful flavors with early accessibility. The tannins are focused, ripe and round. Aromas and flavors tend to the black fruits, with ripe aromas and soft mouthfeel. This vintage will deliver flavorful wines with immediate appeal and superb drinkability.
