Color: Pale gold, a peek of the complexity created by the careful aging process.  ​​

Nose: Restrained smoky flavours and aromas of sweet vanilla, wood spice and smoked bacon, plus a hint of dried fruit.  ​​

Palate: Layered and creamy, with flavours of pepper, iodine and peat smoke along with hints of green apple.  ​​

Finish: Lingering with waves of smoke and a peppery conclusion.  ​​

Maturation: This cask strength single malt spends a quarter of a century in ex-Bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry barrels.  ​​
