Description
Pietramaggio is Tommaso Inghirami’s Chianti Classico expression, from their own high-altitude, low-yielding vineyard at the top of Greve, overlooking the Apennine mountains. The Inghirami family owns and farms 54 hectares of certified-organic vineyards with a focus on high altitude, cooler sites to preserve freshness in the wines.

Pietramaggio Chianti
Young Tommaso Inghirami is leading his family’s legacy into the future with both Pietramaggio and Grignano properties. By “Thinking locally and acting globally”, he is bringing back ancient traditions but with a modernized lens. He is producing a lower alcohol, fresher style of Chianti incorporating more Tuscan oak, terracotta and cement while maintaining low yields and the highest quality.
