Description
Starting with a mash bill of 86% corn and 14% barley, the whisky is then double copper pot distilled using some of the world’s most pristine waters from the Misaka Mountain range in the Mt. Fuji basin, 250 meters below the surface. This is the some of the purest water in the world and where the highest-grade sake’s source their water. Finally, Tenjaku is aged in heavily seasoned Kentucky bourbon barrels resulting in a rich, full bodied malt flavor, with a grain taste that is toned down but freely allowed to express its individual characteristics. This exquisite balance forms a clean, timeless blend of 3yr, 5yr & 6yr whisky.

Tenjaku Japanese Malt Whisky
Tenjaku is created in the city of Fuefuki, located in the eastern part of the Kofu Basin in Yamanashi Prefecture. This fertile land encircled by soaring peaks, with the Chichibu mountains rising to the north and the Misaka range to the south, is renowned as Japan’s top peach and grape-producing region. Looking towards Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps, it is a place blessed with boundless nature, with verdant forests, beautiful orchards, hot springs, and crystal clear streams.
