Vilmart & Cie Champagne Brut 1er Cru Grand Cellier d’Or

The golden yellow colour is enlivened by a fine, elegant effervescence. These tiny pearls give rise to a beautiful silvery-white bead on the surface.

On the nose, subtle aromas of dried apricots and candied pear.

After several minutes in the glass, this cuvée reveals all its character with a striking aromatic bouquet of white flowers, toasted almonds and honey.

The palate offers a remarkable attack lifted by an airy texture. The attack is frank and the wine quickly reveals aromatic breadth, with flavours of white peach, baked apple and almond paste.

The wine is full of vitality, offering a fine balance between roundness and tension. The finish is remarkably long with notes of dried fruit and sweet spices.
