The first label is the Amarone 2008, a vintage that has rested for a decade in large oak barrels and for us represents the most intimate expression of our love for Amarone. The milestone of this project that underlines the link to a territory in which we have believed and invested since the beginning. A story of care, dedication and passion, the decision to revive every 10 years a barrel so special that it deserves the wait.
With this label we want to celebrate our great passion, our intuition and our values that have led us to become ambassadors of Italian excellence throughout the world.

Only two thousand five hundred bottles and four hundred Magnums were produced, all numbered and kept in a precious Slavonian Oak wooden box, the same wood in which the Amarone rested.

The tireless commitment to excellence, the unbridled passion for our land, and the surprising potential of its native grape varieties: These are the ingredients that make Zenato wines extraordinarily different and unique at the same time.

Today, Zenato has 95 hectares of vineyards between San Benedetto di Lugana, which provides the ideal conditions for growing Trebbiano di Lugana, and Sant’Ambrogio in Valpolicella, home to the celebrated wine Amarone and Zenato’s top reds, and the renowned grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella, and Oseleta.

The wine project “Archivio Storico Zenato” was created to celebrate a history of caring, dedication and passion, which led to recognize worldwide the name of Zenato as a synonym of excellence and identity of a unique area: Valpolicella.
